The Keep is an immersive tabletop roleplaying venue in Albany, CA. It’s a private chamber wrapped in a 270° display with directional sound, layered lighting, and a digital battle map — built so the room itself becomes part of the story.
The Keep is still a work in progress — we’re continually adding new quests, refining the room, and expanding what’s possible. That said, every session running today is a fully polished experience from the moment you walk in to the moment the story ends.
The Keep is located in Albany, CA. The exact address is shared once your session is booked.
No experience required — only curiosity. Quests are written to welcome first-timers and veteran adventurers alike, and your Dungeon Master will walk you through everything you need at the table.
Sessions are designed for 2–3 adventurers and typically run 3–4 hours — long enough for a complete, self-contained tale.
A Private Session is just your group, your Dungeon Master, and the world — perfect for friends, families, or a date night. The Open Table runs every Thursday and seats you alongside other adventurers for a shared tale, great if you’re coming solo or as a pair.
Head to the Quests & Booking page, browse the Quest Board, then use the Registry to reserve a Private Session or join the Open Table. If nothing on the calendar works for your group, use the “find a time” link to suggest times that fit everyone.
A Private Session table is $40 per person, and a seat at the Open Table is $30 per person. If you have questions before booking, email christopher.p@odysseytabletop.com.
Some quests carry mild content warnings, noted right on the Quest Board. If a warning matters for your group, take a look before booking, or ask the Dungeon Master for details.
Just yourselves. Everything you need is provided at the table — though if you have a favorite set of dice or a pencil you love, feel free to bring them along.
